HIGHLAND COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
FULL TIME SUBSTITUTE STAFF MEMBER
MAINTENANCE, BUS AIDE AND KITCHEN

Assists Vehicle Operator/ Bus Driver in the control of students and adults on the bus. Assists in kitchen with food service and serves as a backup for food service associates. Customer service: Service is given in a friendly, quick and courteous manner using proper service techniques and portioning guidelines. The associate shall be completely knowledgeable with the day’s menu prior to beginning meal service. Everyone is greeted, served and thanked appropriately. Serving lines are full, clean and organized. Complaints or concerns are handled positively and efficiently. All concerns are immediately brought to the supervisor’s attention for quick resolution. Assists and supports Community Services events and outings. Assists maintenance department as needed.

Individual must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revise Code; have a valid Ohio drivers license with transportation to/from work. This position has a 180 day probationary period following first day of employment. HCBDD is an EOE employer.

HELP ME GROW HOME VISITOR – ROSS COUNTY

HCBDD in Hillsboro is currently hiring a Home Visitor for the Help Me Grow home visitation program in Ross County. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: home visitation, parent education of families with children in the birth to three year population. Skills/Training:  Must be eligible for credentialing under ODH rules, must attend all state mandated trainings and additional trainings as deemed appropriate by Manager. Licensed Social Worker or Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) with experience in case management, ability to maintain a caseload, and meet mandates and timelines.
