Summer Newsletter 2019
A message from the desk of...Superintendent Deb Buccilla
Welcome to our 2019 Summer Newsletter,
The summer was busy! Along with the activities and events you will read about in this edition, other fun projects have been in process for us at HCBDD. If you have not checked out our Facebook page, please do so. You will see Chelsey Seelig, our Education Coordinator, help families understand childhood behaviors. It is brief, to the point and contains helpful hints for families. Speaking of helpful hints, we are busy working on updating our website to a platform that will assist navigating more easily. Look for this update in the future.
Wonderful partnerships have been developed with our new Summer Youth Program. Read the article and we would appreciate your help thanking our partners if given the opportunity. Without them, this program would not be possible.
Things are moving, literally, at The Up and Beyond Art Studio. We have recently relocated this studio from the Hills and Dales Campus to a location west on US 50. The artists were very busy with the summer festival season, showcasing and selling their art. Look for an upcoming open house at the new location in late fall and to see them at the Wheat Ridge Herb Festival and Bainbridge Fall Festival of Leaves.
These are just a few things we have been up to. We hope you enjoyed your summer, as you can see, we did!
Until next time,
Deb Buccilla, HCBDD Superintendent
