HIGHLAND COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES


Highland County Board of DD staff includes over 60 full-time, part-time and substitute staff.


The Administrative team is overseen by the Superintendent, whose team consists of an Executive Administrative Assistant, Business Director, SSA Director, Early Childhood Director, Community First Director, Education Director, Delegated Registered Nurse, Operations Director, Investigative Agent, Human Resources Director, Administrative Assistant/Fiscal Agent & MAC Coordinator, HR Administrative Assistant. 


The Hills and Dales preschool staff is led by the Education Director whose team consists of a Lead Intervention Specialist & RESA Mentor, three Intervention Specialists/Preschool Teachers, and Eight Educational Aide Paraprofessionals, and Office Administrator/Substitute Preschool Teacher.

Preschool transportation is overseen by the Operations Director, whose team consists of an Operations Manager, an Administrative Assistant who also works closely with the Business Office, five Operations Associates and two Vehicle Operators.


The Help Me Grow program is overseen by the Early Childhood Director whose team consists of a Program Manager, two Supervisors and eight Home Visitors who serve families in six different Ohio counties. 


The Hills and Dales Early Intervention is led by the Early Childhood Director whose team consists of a Speech Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, two Early Intervention Developmental Specialists, three full-time Early Intervention Service Coordinators, two part-time Early Intervention Service Coordinators, and an Early Childhood Administrative Assistant. 


The Service & Support Administration is led by an SSA Director, whose staff consists of an Administrative Assistant/Family Support Services Contact, MUI Contact & Waiver Manager, and five SSA’s. 


The Community First Department is led by the Community First Director whose staff consists of a Community First Transition Manager who focuses on helping school age students find their college and career paths, a Job Developer who works with employers and adults with filling/finding job opportunities, a Community First Coordinator who also works with Special Olympics, a Community First Specialist who focuses on the Up and Beyond Art Studio. 


The Information Technology Department is overseen by the Operations Director whose staff consists of IT Manager and a part-time IT Specialist.
