Every member of the community has a right to make the most out of his or her life. Highland County Board of DD is charged with providing legally mandated adaptation services for children and young adults that qualify. Based in Hillsboro, OH, we provide assistance for families with children and adults who have developmental delays throughout the Highland County area.
HCBDD is looking for a bus driver for the Hills and Dales preschool program. The bus driver may also assist and support Community Services events and outings for adults with disabilities. Assists maintenance and transportation departments as needed. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis. The schedule for this position is M-Th, 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 2:45 PM – 4:45 PM approximately 16-20 hours per week during the school year.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have or be willing to obtain a CDL with passenger endorsement to drive the school bus. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Individual must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; 180 day probation period must be completed. Individual must be able to pass BCI and FBI criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; pass a preemployment drug screen, physical and TB test, and have a valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record and a satisfactory MVR CORSA score.
